Partizipatorische Lesung von Alja Piry + Drinks
Die Ausstellung stellt einen Dialog zwischen visueller Kunst, Sprache und Natur dar. Die Kalligramme von Alja Piry treten in einen symbiotischen Austausch mit der rudimentären Rauminstallation von Mateja Kavčič. Die Künstlerinnen beschäftigen sich in ihren Werken mit den unberührten, wilden Landschaften von Sümpfen und Mooren. Im Fokus steht das Wechselspiel von Natur und innerer Erlebniswelt. Die Werke schlagen eine Brücke zwischen dem Sichtbaren und dem Empfindbaren, zwischen der Umgebung und den Nuancen menschlicher Wahrnehmung und Emotion. Natur zeigt sich hier nicht nur als physischer Raum, sondern auch als Sinnbild für die menschliche Psyche – als Verweis auf jene verborgenen Bereiche unseres Selbst, die sich dem direkten Zugriff entziehen.

Participatory reading session by Alja Piry + Drinks
The exhibition presents a dialogue between visual art, poetry and the natural world. Alja Piry's calligrams are
symbiotic with the rudimentary design of Mateja Kavčič's spatial installation. The artists present a unique
attempt of highlighting the values found in an untouched, wild environment, particularly in marshes and
swamps. The exhibition is based on the interplay between the outside environment and the intimate inner
world, conveying the subtler human perceptions and emotions. The overarching themes are equally present in
the work of both artists as they individually recreate the chosen natural environment, while further narrating
an all-encompassing connectedness through the contact of their artistic languages. Nature is present
physically, but also as a metaphor for the human psyche: representing parts that are harder to reach, but
invaluable to consider.
